Investigators from the FBI and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives say an explosion at a day spa in Aliso Viejo, California was likely intentional, but they do not know the motive behind the bombing, nor are they aware of how the explosive device arrived at the building.

At a press conference Wednesday, Sheriff's officials identified the woman who died in yesterday's explosion as a Trabuco Canyon woman named Ildiko Krajnyak. The 40-year-old Krajnyak was the owner of the day spa on the first floor of the building where the explosion occurred.

According to NBC4, FBI and ATF agents have begun searching a home in Long Beach with the help of a sheriff's bomb squad. Neighbors tell the station that the man who lives at the home recently broke up with his girlfriend and had been 'distraught' in recent days.

Investigators say they've taken wreckage from the site to a lab in Virginia where they will try and determine exactly what compounds were used to cause the explosion.

So far, there have not been any arrests in the case.

The blast caused a fire in the building when it went off around 1:10 p.m. on Tuesday, but it was quickly put out by a large-scale response from firefighters. Authorities initially said the fire was caused by a car crashing into the building, but OC Fire Authority and sheriff's officials later said it was not the case.
