CHARGES COME DOWN IN THE CRASH THAT INJURED 9 BLUEFIELD COLLEGE SOFTBALL PLAYERS, PLUS STAFF MEMBERS, OVER THE WEEKEND.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS: 77 YEAR OLD JOE TAYLOR OF NICKELSVILLE HAD A MEDICAL CONDITION WHICH CAUSED HIM TO VEER HEAD-ON INTO THE BUS CARRYING THE BLUEFIELD COLLEGE SOFTBALL TEAM SATURDAY.   TAYLOR HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH RECKLESS DRIVING.  9 MEMBERS OF THE TEAM PLUS THE THE TRAINER AND THE HEAD COACH ALONG WITH  THE BUS DRIVER WERE TAKEN TO RUSSELL COUNTY MEDICAL CENTER TO BE CHECKED OUT.   ALL HAD MINOR INJURIES.    THE TEAM WAS COMING BACK FROM PLAYING A GAME AT UNION COLLEGE IN KENTUCKY.
